MISSION STATEMENT
The District Eleven Northern Coast Guard Auxiliary serves to provide recreation boating safety throughout the lakes and waterways within our region.
Our strong partnerships, preparation, volunteerism and proficiency are our watch words for mission execution and support of the United States Coast Guard.
Our Goal is to achieve safety on the water to the millions of public citizens who enjoy boating in California, Nevada and Utah.
 
My GOALS and STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES for 2011
To enhance the RBS safety programs especially paddle sports
To improve Safety Patrols at inland lakes
To increase our numbers in coxswains, crew, and facilities
to improve our integration with the Coast Guard small boat stations and State Agencies
To bring in webinar in order to better communicate with our members

Enhance partnerships among our boating alliance
Increase partnerships with our local State and Federal Agencies
 
PREPARATION
Encourage all members to participate in the core missions of the Coast Guard Auxiliary
Increase readiness through training expanding the capability and capacity of our Auxiliary forces
Integrate the Auxiliary into contingency planning in response to a crisis
 
PARTICIPATION
Promote and enhance the Recreational Boating Safety missions throughout the inland Lakes and Waterways
Focus our efforts on paddle sports
Honor our profession by creating an Auxiliary Memorial For those who have past over the bar
 
PROFICIENCY
All three watch words increase our Proficiency through Partnership, Preparation and Participation.
